Brett Nadal: Rapa Nui

Brett traveled to Easter Island as part of an examination of horse culture and Rapa Nui’s jinetes (jockeys), who compete every February during a week-long festival, celebrating their culture, community and nearly 2000-year ancestry on the island.
Rapa Nui people are a Polynesian culture, aboriginal to what much of the world knows as Easter Island.
SocialWorks, founded by Grammy-award-winning musician and humanitarian Chance the Rapper, aims to empower Chicago youth through the arts, education, and civic engagement. Since 2016, SocialWorks has created initiatives that present youth the opportunity to learn and act on their passions. SocialWorks’ programming focuses on education, mental health, homelessness, and performing and literary arts – directly affecting thousands of youth yearly, advocating for success in all its forms.
Sizing, Printing and Pricing
The total cost of the print includes a donation that the buyer makes to the charity directly at the time of purchase. The buyer receives the tax benefits and the immediate satisfaction of knowing that through their purchase they made a difference. Once the donation is made, the buyer then purchases the print from Giving Photography for the remainder of the amount.
